A hope and dream the stars did weave.
They looked unto a child of Eve,
Then ‘twas the night she did believe.
They kissed the inky black of night,
Vanquished ev’ry lone child’s fright.
To look, to see, oh what a sight!
Out of darkness shines their light!
Once upon a day of grey,
A son of Adam, merry? Nay,
Had neither friend nor joyful play,
And kept himself, all words to say.
Then magic reached the wandering eye.
A beam of Heaven breached the sky.
A fire bright, a flame to cry,
Did smite the gloom to stifle sighs.
To journey’s start to weary end,
The heart, behold! the ray did bend
Into
Crazy
